Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome for casual dining. However, reservations are recommended if you plan to enjoy our imperial course menu, are visiting with a large group, or would like a private room.

You can call us at 03-3566-8078 or book through our listing on Tabelog, Hot Pepper, Gurunavi, or Ikyu.

Is there an English menu? Do the staff speak English?

Yes, we have an English menu available upon request. While not all staff are fluent in English, our team will be happy to help you order and answer any questions about the dishes.

International guests are warmly welcome.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash and major credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club.

Other domestic cards also accepted: DC, UC, UFJ, NICOS, and SAISON.

QR code payment: PayPay.

Is there a minimum number of people for the imperial courses?

Yes. All of our imperial courses (from ¥4,950 to ¥33,000) require a minimum of 2 persons per order. Prices include consumption tax, but a 10% service charge will be added separately.

If you are dining alone, you are welcome to order à la carte from our regular menu.

Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

We do our best to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please inform us in advance when making your reservation so our chefs can prepare suitable alternatives.

Common requests we can often handle include no shellfish, no pork, no peanuts, and vegetarian options. Please note that we use shared cooking equipment, so we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are very welcome at Ginza Kanmeihou. For families with young children, we recommend booking one of our private rooms for a more relaxed and comfortable dining experience.

We can also prepare simpler dishes on request — please let us know in advance.

Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Ginza Velvia Building and is accessible by elevator. The dining area is wheelchair accessible.

If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know when you make your reservation so we can arrange the most comfortable seating for you.

Is there a dress code?

We do not have a strict dress code. Smart casual attire is perfectly appropriate, whether you are here for a casual meal or a special celebration.

Many guests dress up for dinner or business occasions, but comfort is always welcome.
